I am happy to take care of as much or as little of your wedding as you wish.
I can design the entire wedding ceremony to include adding favorite readings and music plus write your vows
or
you can create your own ceremony and vows,
or
I can simply sign your marriage license and mail in the papers for you.
I can legally marry you anywhere in Minnesota.
I am ordained in the Universal Life Church & my credentials are recorded in Wright County, MN.
Your wedding day is the day that you make public the love and devotion you have for each other. I want your ceremony to be one that truly respects your wishes.
You can have a simple non-religious or religious service with a traditional or non-traditional format. All beliefs are welcome.
You may incorporate rituals like hand-fasting and unity ceremonies, honor loved ones that have passed or give special recognition to friends and family in your service
Often, especially with a second marriage, it is nice to include a blending of families and children ceremony.
I believe that pets are family; if your venu allows it, they are most welcome to attend and be included in your wedding ceremony too.
You may want to just get married, nothing formal, nothing super fancy; just the two of you with a quiet, romantic ceremony, I am happy to do that for you.
Although same sex marriages are not yet legal in the state of Minnesota, I respect that you want to marry and commit to a lifetime love in partnership. I am honored to conduct your committment ceremony.

Services and Fees
You write your own Wedding Ceremony and Vows $400
You find and make all the arrangements for your wedding location. You write your wedding ceremony & vows. Reverend Sharon officiates, signs your marriage certificate, and mails in the signed paperwork to have it recorded.
Wedding, Ceremony & Vows by Reverend Sharon $495
You find and make all the arrangements for your wedding venu location. Reverend Sharon writes your wedding ceremony and vows. A copy of your personalized ceremony and vows are sent to you for approval after total payment is received. There can be as many revisions to your vows as you like, Sharon will work together with you to make sure you have what you want. Remember this is your special day! Sharon will officiate your ceremony and she will be at your wedding location 35 minutes prior your set time. Reverend Sharon will sign your marriage certificate and mail in the signed paperwork to have it recorded.
Officiant to just sign your marriage license. $45
This option has no wedding service, ceremony, vows, or ring exchange. You do need 2 witnesses, your license and an appointment. Sharon will sign your marriage certificate at her office and mail in the signed paperwork to have it recorded. Sharon's office is in Belgrade MN.
Officiant to sign your marriage license at your location. $245
This option is perfect when you have someone not ordained perform your wedding service, ceremony, vows, or ring exchange and you need Sharon to be there to sign your papers. Sharon will sign your marriage certificate at your location and mail in the signed paperwork to have it recorded.
Rehersal Fee $275
Rehearsals are not a requirement.
Reverend Sharon will be at your rehearsal location to put you and your wedding party thru your pases. Most people today are not having a rehearsal unless the wedding ceremony is very complicated or the wedding party is extremely large.
Keepsake Certificate $45
An 8.5 x 11 Parchment Wedding Certificate that includes a copy of your Wedding vows.

General Wedding Information when getting married in Minnesota
Marriage licenses can be applied for in any county in Minnesota as much as 6 months before your wedding.
Most people get their Marriage License about 30 days prior to the wedding date.
The county you live in is usually the easiest licensing office to apply at.
Each Minnesota county has it's own licensing requirements so, it's best to call ahead to find out what papers you will need to bring along also some counties require that you both apply and others will allow one of you to do the paperwork.
The state of Minnesota has a five day waiting period so, I recommend you apply two weeks before your wedding at the latest - that way you can be sure you have your papers before the ceremony.
Right now the cost to purchase a marriage license in Minnesota is around $110.
You do not have to live in MInnesota to be married here but the waiting period still applies.
Minnesota requires you to have a qualifies 2 (two) witnesses present and to sign the papers after your marriage is solemnized.
